I am the Sorenson Post-Doctoral Fellow in Entrepreneurship & Strategy at the University of Utah, Eccles School of Business.

My research uses tools from empirical microeconomics & industrial organization to understand the interaction between strategic firm behavior, innovation, market structure, and regulatory policy—particularly in pharmaceutical markets. A central theme of my work is studying how mergers and acquisitions, and other forms of strategic firm conduct, together with antitrust policy, shape innovation, entry, pricing, welfare, and long-run growth, both in the pharmaceutical industry and in the broader economy.

I received my PhD in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis in May 2024.

Primary research fields: industrial organization, health economics, innovation, microeconomics, firm strategy
